How to play
To take the Logitech Football Challenge, first you must register to play. Once you register, you'll be able to log in weekly
to make your picks. You can make or change your selections up to a ½ hour
before the start of the game. Then all bets are off!
Making picks is easy, just choose which team you think will win each game by clicking
on the corresponding button. The same goes for the Monday Night games but you can also assign a Confidence Rating to those games and possibly score bonus points. (Check out the Scoring section below
to see how it works.)
There are two ways to earn points:
- Pick the correct outcome of a game (1 point per game).
- Monday Night Madness: Use the Confidence Rating System to assign
bonus points to Monday Night games. (Win or lose up to 10 additional points per
game.) Here's how it works:
- Feeling lucky? If you feel confident about your pick, you can select
a number between 1 and 10 on the Confidence Rating Scale. Say you have a Confidence
Level of 4, if you pick the winner, you get 1 point for your pick, plus a 4 point
Confidence Rating Bonus, for a total of 5 points. Caution. If you pick a losing team, you
lose 4 points from your weekly total. Yes, negative scores are possible! (NOTE:
In the case of a tie game, points are not added or subtracted.)
- Playing it safe. Of course, if you want to play it safe, you can
set your Confidence Level to 0, which means you aren't eligible for bonus points
or liable for penalties.
Points accumulate weekly. Players with the most points at the end of each quarter
(weeks 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16) and the Wild Card Week (week 17) are eligible to win
the Ultimate Football Party Gear. Players who have the highest points at the end
of the Season are eligible for the Grand Prize drawing for the Trip 4-2 to Hawaii
for the pro-football all-star game.
New Registrants. This includes everyone who registers each quarter,
and the Wild Card Week, whether or not any picks were made. The quarter you register
you will be entered into a drawing for a prize of a
Logitech® Harmony® 880 Universal Remote Control.
The drawings will be held on or about October 5, 2007, November 2, 2007, November
30, 2007, December 28, 2007 and January 3, 2008 and winners will be notified via
e-mail.
Two drawings will be held each week for great prizes to be awarded to players in
the following categories:
At the end of each quarter (weeks 4, 8, 12, and 16) and the Wild Card Week (week
17), the player with the highest total score will win the Ultimate Football Party
Gear. This includes a
Logitech Harmony® 1000 Advanced Remote Control, a set of
Logitech® Z-5500 Digital Speakers, a
Logitech® Wireless DJ, a
Slingbox™ AV and a LCD HDTV.
The drawings will be held on or about October 5, 2007, November 2, 2007, November
30, 2007, December 28, 2007 and January 3, 2008 and winners will be notified via
e-mail.
Make great picks week after week and you'll have a shot at the Trip 4-2 to Hawaii.
Make sure you play every week to accumulate the most points possible to be eligible
for this prize! This prize goes to the Player with the highest cumulative score
at the end of the Season.
